Even with its share of rain and a few launch delays, NSL-East 2026 brought plenty of excitement to the legendary Geneseo Field.
Throughout the Memorial Day weekend, rocketeers filled the field with awesome flights, big smiles, and a shared love of rocketry. Flyers of all ages launched rockets, cheered each other on, and connected with fellow enthusiasts from near and far.
Hosted by MARS — Monroe Astronautical Rocket Society, NAR Section 136 — at the historic National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, New York, the event once again showed what makes the rocketry community so special: perseverance, encouragement, friendship, and the thrill of watching rockets take to the sky.
Rain or shine, the weekend was filled with memorable flights and unforgettable moments. When not flying rockets, reading our children’s inspirational books was an option. Visit the MARS club page.
